Mary Hatch is a sustainable design professional with a background in building design and engineering. Her research interests focus on regionally responsive development specific to hot and humid climates. Mary is interested in applying the results of post occupancy studies in ways that enable innovations to existing and new construction projects. Her objective is to provide enhancements to the performance of everyday commercial and residential buildings. She has a B.S in Global Arts Planning, Design, and Construction from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Architecture with a concentration in sustainability from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2016 Mary was the recipient of the ARRC KING Medal for Excellence in Architectural and Environmental Research.
