Daria Mashnik is a Renewable Energy Senior Associate at Tetra Tech. She has 6 years of experience in small-scale renewable energy projects and energy efficiency projects in industrial and commercial sectors for USAID, IFC, European Union, California Energy Commission, PG&E. Her recent work includes a multi-year project providing energy access to health facilities in Haiti through implementing 4 decentralized solar PV systems and 32 inverter battery backup systems where she had carried out energy modelling and feasibility studies of decentralized PV hybrid systems, installed over a dozen remote monitoring systems, and led hands-on training on operation and maintenance. She is currently conducting monitoring and evaluation of 24 early stage innovative clean energy pilot projects implemented in Africa, Asia and the Americas under USAID’s Powering Agriculture Initiative. Daria holds a master’s degree in Renewable Energy from University of Oldenburg, Germany and a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley.
