Forum: Community Solar II: Solar Market Pathways
This panel will review the results to date and lessons learned from three DOE-funded “Solar Market Pathways” projects that are exploring new ways to make community solar projects even more attractive and practical for all types of customers in locations nationwide.

Dan Chwastyk joined SEPA in 2015, where he works as SEPA’s Utility Strategy Manager on the Advisory Services team. Dan leads much of SEPA’s research on community shared solar, and other innovative customer-facing business models. Prior to SEPA, Dan consulted government, utility, and private sector clients on their energy efficiency, smart grid, and demand response initiatives.
Through Cliburn and Associates, LLC, in Santa Fe, NM, Jill Cliburn has provided research, program design, and policy support in solar, wind, and the range of DERs, for over 25 years. Jill recently has focused on community solar and “solar-plus” opportunities. She is Principal Investigator for the Community Solar Value Project, a utility-focused effort under the US DOE SunShot initiative (with Extensible Energy, Prime). In past years, her clients have ranged from industry associations and government agencies to public power, co-op, and IOU utilities, plus community-based initiatives, aimed at collaboration on clean energy solutions.
